Exea!

Exea! (2023) is my third original poetry collection in Interlingue. Composed of thirteen untitled poems, the collection returns to a recurring theme in my work: the discipline of getting up and acting despite fear, self-doubt and inertia, addressed directly to the reader as a kind of encouragement to keep going. Running alongside it is a second, more personal thread: a reflection on why I keep returning to Interlingue itself, a language spoken by almost no one, and on what it means to keep writing in it, book after book, against the assumption that it has nothing left to say.
