Fabules, racontas e mites

Fabules, contes e mites is a three-part anthology in Interlingue bringing together traditional European fables, tales and myths. The first part collects classic fables, several attributed to Aesop; the second gathers folk tales recorded by the Brothers Grimm, Hans Christian Andersen and Charles Perrault, including Hansel and Gretel, Puss in Boots, The Pied Piper of Hamelin, Little Red Riding Hood and Cinderella; the third part narrates the Greco-Roman mythological cycle of the Trojan War, from its causes through Odysseus' journey home to Ithaca and Aeneas' voyage to Italy. In the introduction, the author explains his aim: to offer Interlingue readers an accessible tour through the foundational fables, tales and myths of the European tradition.
