La marcia nonconoseda
La marcia nonconoseda is an original Lingua Franca Nova novel, the first in a series of four books. It follows Joan, a teenager spending the summer with his grandfather in the Vileta de la Marci, a tiny village partly submerged under a reservoir after its modern reconstruction. Discovering a secret passage between the ruined castle's hermitage and an old monastery, Joan finds historical documents that set in motion a legal dispute over the true lordship of la Marcia, drawing the hostility of the village's current lord. As a self-referential touch, the novel mentions La xerca per Pahoa, the author's first published book, presented as the work that inspired the protagonist's own name, Joan.
