Poemeti is my first original poetry collection in Ido, following years of writing in other constructed languages. Composed of nine short poems, the collection reflects both my return to Ido and my attempt to explore poetry, rhyme and verse in a language I had once used extensively but had gradually stopped using. The poems move between reflections on the creative process, the difficulty of writing, the enjoyment of poetry, and quieter observations of lakes, castles, time and everyday life.
