Senas

Senas is an original poetry collection in Lingua Franca Nova, composed of ten untitled poems inspired by love, memory, nature and places. The collection moves between intimate reflections and descriptions of landscapes, from quiet nighttime streets and countryside seen from a train to beaches, lakes and historic towns. Several poems are connected to specific places, including Lake Como and Lecco, Verona, and Porto Venere, where the surrounding landscape becomes a setting for thoughts about love, solitude, time and the passage of life. Rather than following a single narrative, the book is held together by recurring images of water, wind, silence, travel and changing landscapes. Its poems combine personal emotion with close observation of the places around them, creating a quieter and more contemplative collection than my earlier poetry.
