Antolojia espaniol
Antolojia espaniol (2022) is a collection of excerpts from Spanish literature translated into Lingua Franca Nova, organised into three periods: medieval, classical and modern Spanish.
The anthology brings together the Glosas de San Emiliano and an anonymous jarcha, the Poema de mio Cid, Quevedo's "A un nas" and a passage from Cervantes' Don Quixote. It also includes the Romantic period, with Espronceda's "La canción del pirata," an excerpt from Zorrilla's Don Juan Tenorio, poems and a legend by Gustavo Adolfo Bécquer, and a passage from the historical novel El señor de Bembibre by Enrique Gil y Carrasco, closing with Rafael Alberti's poem "La paloma se equivocaba."
The excerpts are accompanied by explanatory notes on Spanish cultural references — such as traditional dishes or old coins — aimed at non-Spanish-speaking readers.
